The Watcher:
There is but one way to leave this world behind.
The Porta Vitae Mundos will open if you choose.

The Meaning Maker:
How will it open? How will I know
that where I end up is where I belong?

The Watcher:
My friend you can never know for sure but be forewarned,
if you take this leap of faith you can never return.

I'm convinced, but I'm not sure
if I can find a guarantee.
Alone with my thoughts, a Maker's dread.
The portal is near. I feel it's energy.

My God what have I done? Have I said too much?
I never meant for this, I only meant to guide him.

Along the way he has lost,
found my words at his own cost.

Now what can I do but watch his time decay
and hope that he'll see he's the source for all his days.

A conflict ignites while the Portal opens up.
Here we stand on trial for our lives.

The Meaning Maker:
Here I stand, face to face with my own mortality.
My shadow creeps, lures with temptation;
whispers in my ear.
Waste of time when it never mattered.
What really is the point?

Distorted view through my eyes,
but how would I know unless I try.

The Watcher:
I have failed. Broken vows. Interfered.
Disturbed The Order.
Do no harm yet I have tampered
with the trial of life.

I stand here before is it too late?
Own up to how I've met my fate.

We stand before, accept whatever it takes.
We stand before, accept whatever will come.

Like nature finds a new day,
time won't heal but will change.
We will survive if we create
